Shopping Complex

The Dehuroad Cantonment Board has constructed a shopping complex near the Dehuroad railway station on B-4 land for the benefit of the Dehuroad Cantonment residents. Some shopping complex is being let out on occupancy right basis for a period of 25 years and some shopping complex is being let out on occupancy right basis for a period of 5 years. The shopping complexes which are let out for 25 years, the said occupancy rights of the shopping complex will increase by 25% after every 5 years.The shopping complexes which are let out for 5 years, the said occupancy rights of the shopping complex will increase by 10% every year.

An agreement is also being executed between the occupier and the Cantonment Board Dehuroad. The said shopping complex is categorized as under –

1. Total 36 Shops Occupancy Right as per category A’ B’ C’ D.

2. Big Hall (8800sq.ft): 02 Parts Rs. 76,072/- + 18% GST per month as occupancy charges.

3. I. G Qtrs. 64 nos. existing rent RS. 44.70/- Per month Each qtrs.

Mangal Karyalaya

The Cantonment Board has a Mangal Karyalaya for facilities of the residents of Dehuroad Cantonment area on a nominal rent which is being fixed by the Board. This Mangal Karyalaya is also known as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Mangal Karyalaya. This Mangal Karyalaya consists of a big hall, Dining Hall,Kitchen and five rooms with bathroom. Electricity facilities and water facilities are also made available in the Mangal Karyalaya. This Mangal Karyalaya is constructed to cater to the needs of the middle class residents.

1. The rent for the mangal karyalaya is Rs 12,500/- + GST 18 % per day

2. The form fees for the same is Rs 100/-

3. Deposit amount is Rs 5000/- which is refundable.

The said Mangal Karyalaya is in the close vicinity of Dehuroad Railway station and Dehuroad Main Bazar.

Cantt. Board Fund Building

The Cantonment Board Dehuroad has constructed a LIG group housing colony near Central Restaurant for which the LIG Market, Mutton Market, Fish Market andVegatable market has also been constructed for the benefit of the residents of LIG quarters and also the nearby residents of Dehuroad Cantonment area who can avail this facility . These markets are being let out on building licence Fee basis which are as under:

1. I .G Market- 11nos. Shops given on Building License Fee basis

2. Mutton Market – 08nos. Shops given on Building License Fee basis.

3. Fish Market- 08nos. Shops given on Building License Fee basis.

4. Vegetable Market- 16nos. Shops given on Building License Fee basis.

4. Site Rent (Verbal Grant): 156 sites Laving 211 shops of different area were verbally allotted by the stn. Hqrs.in 1947 before establishment of this Cantonment Board verbal site rent is levied at the different rates.

5. Wheel Tax-

1. Two Wheeler – Rs. 12/-

2. Three Wheeler – Rs. 30/-

3. Four Wheeler – Rs. 40/-

4. Heavy Vehicles – Rs. 100/-
